When installing an application, you must first install a
compressor in order to extract or mount an installer because usually the
applications or installer found on the web that you downloaded is in an archive
format or in compressed. One of the
compressor that usually use is the Winrar. So here is the procedure when installing a
Winrar:
1. First, download
Winrar.
You can download it here,
and select your preferred version and language.
2. After you select your preferred installer and
language, a downloaded file will appear on lower left corner of a browser
(chrome).
3. After the file is downloaded, just click the
file. And another window will come up. Then,
click Run to start the installation.
4. Next, another window will appear. And just click
Install.
5. After that, another window will appear. In the Associate
Winrar with portion, Select all
boxes. Meaning all files that its
extension are checked will be associated by Winrar.
6. Lastly click OK and Done.
